The Vicious Circle of Probability and Possibility

To me in practicality there is plenty of time for us all, in our lives… But lives bound by extreme and external forces that can profoundly add meaning or misery to one’s life is really something I have been trying to contemplate for so long. I have contacted a lot of people among the years and with my quest to add meaning to my life…. I have been observing people’s life, and what really life means to them. A lot of answers surprised me, as most of them were nothing but a load of crap, to be real honest. I figure that at the deductions that I contemplate peoples life is that we all, each and every one of us is chasing the profound essence of life and very few of us have really found meaning in our lives. Am not talking about those mortals who relate everything to education, money with a steady and a safe path to a glorious boring life, I am trying to relate to those few spirited individuals who look at life from a macro level, who love to try different things and try to get the most from it. It’s quite a paradox, to leave all that you wanted, the dreams and aspirations of our estranged society, and how our folks have also been suckers for it, well I would not blame them, and it is because of us that they had to live a life full of compromises and sacrifices. So now when the world is easily accessible, when communication is a piece of cake, let’s all make use of this to impact and learn from what this world, the planet, the universe has to teach us. Let us try to make the most out of it, at things that make us happy.
Motivating as it might sound and a treat to hear this out, wake up people, let me hit you with a little bit of a reality. What I said above was and is the truth, I believe in it, I try to make life as meaningful as possible to me and to the society by giving back what is good and meaningful, but well, let’s face it, am not here to preach to you about the good deeds or show off my wonderful humanitarian skills, am here to give you a revelation, you will really see life quite differently. So here goes….
What am going to tell you about anything we do in life is based on probabilities and possibilities bound by capabilities and abilities. There are possibilities that we can do things and out of confidence, if it’s not us there are people who know that there are possibilities that we can. Probabilities and possibilities is a vicious circle bounded by capabilities, which is in turn bounded by the ability. These possibilities are based on capabilities that we know of…. And these capabilities give us the confidence that we can do a better job than anyone else, even when one isn’t quite an expert or perfect with it, given the capabilities, one can learn and get better as soon as possible. But then there are people who do not share that confidence, even if one is capable for sure, showing the bright signs of capabilities, there is a high probability that one will not be chosen. Here comes the most meaningless justification, the experience of doing that task. In my opinion mere qualification will never justify the task taken it’s a licensed ability or mere experience will not quantify the capabilities that go into it, as at one point or the other we all need learning. Experience is always good, but one also has to have the capability to take that probable risk. That is when one will understand the limits of their ability.
Now I am not talking about blind faith, experience matters, knowledge is an add-on, but the possibility of not having to do that task as being a designated expert is a total de-motivation. Why do I say that is because, no matter how hard one tries to convince or how hard one works to get that task done, one won’t be given the probability of being an expert at it, or given the possibility that lacks capability will be understood as one needs to be convinced on paper about the possibilities of handling a task.
On having capabilities, we tend to have the possibility of having the task, project, work etc., but mere capabilities will not give us the probability to qualify for it. Having these on paper might make an impact.. but not quite. So anyway at the end of the day what I am trying to say is, having capabilities is a load of garbage in today’s world, you can go on forever trying to justify the possibilities of your capabilities, the probabilities are very few that you might be able to use your capabilities and enhance your abilities and put them to effective use.
If you have the money, yeah sure go on and explore your capabilities and expand your possibilities.
If you don’t have it, well keep trying to advertise your capabilities, market them strategically and to the right people, so they do understand and try to fathom the risk of investing in your abilities which might have a probability that you might be able to do what you love. But do not be too sure, it’s a long road to find someone who is willing to take that risk….. the only advice I have is to keep trying, and maybe if it works out, again a possibility…..
Expand your capabilities, don’t let them go waste……………………..
